The author share is 80% of the list price, paid in USDG. Sentence’s share supports the platform and payment costs.

Readers pay the full price in USDG onchain. Reading earns READ rewards, but those rewards cannot buy author books.

This describes the payment model. Sales depend on payment availability; publication does not guarantee earnings.

How the money reaches you.

WALLET PURCHASES

Paid onchain.

When a supported wallet purchase completes, the payment contract sends your USDG allocation to your payout wallet as part of the transaction.

PLATFORM COMMISSION

Supporting Sentence.

The same transaction sends Sentence’s 20% commission to the platform wallet. Commission supports running costs. READ buybacks are only a possible future feature.

Check Author Studio for the supported network and current availability. Author purchases use USDG only.

Why we use crypto

Open money.
More room for creators.

We believe writers should be able to receive value directly. Permissionless money is the idea behind that choice: open payment networks and a wallet you control.

Our author payment model uses USDG, with payments recorded onchain. You don’t need to create an NFT or turn your book into a token.

Open networks still have practical limits. You need a compatible wallet on the supported network. Moving or converting tokens may involve fees, local restrictions and third-party services. USDG is not a bank deposit, and its cash value is not guaranteed.

The manuscript

  • TXT, text-based PDF or DRM-free EPUB, up to 20 MB.
  • Check chapter order, punctuation and sentence breaks in the preview.
  • Scanned PDFs are not supported; export selectable text.
  • Up to 250 chapters and one million characters.

The finishing touches

  • Title, author name, language and a compelling description.
  • JPG, PNG or WebP cover, up to 500 KB.
  • List price and compatible USDG payout wallet.
  • Rights to sell both the text and cover.

What can I submit?

Submit a manuscript you own or have permission to sell, including its cover. Every submission is reviewed. Contact us if you are unsure whether your work is suitable.

What happens to my manuscript?

Your file is converted locally into chapters and sentences. You preview it before submitting. Converted content is submitted privately for review; the original source file is not retained by the submission service.

What about rights and exclusivity?

You must own or control the rights to sell your text and cover. Read the terms before submitting. Contact us to confirm any licensing or exclusivity arrangements for your book.

Can I change or remove my book?

Requested manuscript changes are submitted as a new revision and reviewed again. For removal requests or changes to a published payout wallet, contact support.

Do I earn from reading rewards or from sales?

The author share comes from book sales. Reader READ rewards are separate: it is not a cash royalty or a payment method for independent books.

Do I need a crypto wallet?

Yes, a wallet that can receive USDG on the network shown in Author Studio. Check the address and network carefully. Never share your recovery phrase or private key. Ask us for help before submitting if you are unsure.

How long does review take?

There is no guaranteed review time. Check your submissions in Author Studio for status and requested changes.
