Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use the Sentence website, reading app, account features, and available creator or marketplace features.

Reading and imported files

You may use Sentence with built-in public-domain or openly licensed works and with files you own or are authorised to use. You must not use Sentence to infringe copyright, bypass DRM, or distribute files without permission.

Your writing

You keep ownership of original writing you create or upload. Publishing submissions are subject to the author terms presented during submission. Review those terms for the permissions needed to display, distribute, sell, and promote the work through the service. You must have the rights to everything you publish.

Community and moderation

Spam, fraud, impersonation, unlawful content, harassment, malicious files, and copyright infringement are prohibited. Content or accounts may be restricted or removed to protect users, comply with law, or maintain the marketplace.

Independent books

The author or publisher identified at checkout sells the book. Readsentence.com provides the platform. Authors are responsible for their content, descriptions and legally required remedies; the platform remains responsible for its own services and obligations imposed by law. Buyers pay USDG: 80% goes to the author and 20% to Sentence. Earned READ cannot buy independent books.

For missing, faulty or misdescribed content, use Purchase support. The seller can address the issue or send a separate refund transfer where required. A transaction hash reported by the seller is not independently verified proof of receipt. Immediate digital delivery requires express consent and acknowledgement at checkout; rights concerning faulty content are not waived. Your purchase confirmation and accepted terms are saved in your account.

$READ and crypto features

$READ is intended for marketplace utility. It is not a promise of profit, appreciation, revenue share, dividends, or passive income. Use only the payment routes and contract details shown in the official Sentence interface. Earned READ rewards are separate from wallet READ, cannot be withdrawn, and can only be spent on eligible Sentence books and personal imports.

Blockchain transactions may be public, irreversible, and subject to network fees and technical failure. You are responsible for your wallet, private keys, transaction review, taxes, and legal eligibility to use these features.

Payments

The personal-import unlock costs $10 once, paid as 10 USDC through card checkout, or can be unlocked with 100 earned READ. Card checkout uses Privy and a funding provider to add USDC to a payment wallet before you authorize the import purchase. Funding alone does not unlock imports. Provider fees, minimum funding amounts, identity checks and regional availability may apply. Network fees are paid separately in USDC. Any unused USDC stays in your payment wallet. This route covers personal imports; catalogue books have separate purchase options.

Available payment assets, fees, creator proceeds, refunds or credits, and settlement rules will be shown before a transaction is confirmed. Do not send assets to an address that has not been published through the official Sentence interface.

Availability and changes

Sentence may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Preview and coming-soon features are not guaranteed. We may update these terms as the service changes.
