Privacy Policy

This policy explains the information used by the Sentence website and reading app. Marketplace and wallet details will be expanded before those features go live.

Books and reading data on your device

Imported books, reading progress, reader settings, and downloaded book files are primarily stored in your browser or app storage on your device. Clearing local data or removing the app may delete them.

Accounts

If you sign in, an authentication provider and Sentence’s account infrastructure may process your email address, account identifier, session data, and basic account status. Do not use an email address that reveals personal information if you do not want it associated with your account.

Translation and assisted-reading services

When you request a translation or another server-assisted feature, the selected sentence and necessary request details may be sent to a third-party service provider. Full locally imported books are not intentionally uploaded merely because you read them.

Creator content

When publishing launches, stories, titles, descriptions, creator profiles, prices, and related moderation records may be stored so they can be displayed and sold. Published information should be treated as public.

Wallets and blockchains

If you connect a wallet, Sentence may process the public wallet address, network, signatures, and transaction references needed for the requested action. Public blockchain activity can be viewed and analysed by anyone and cannot generally be deleted by Sentence.

Service providers and security

Sentence may use hosting, authentication, translation, infrastructure, and security providers to operate the service. We aim to minimise the information shared and use project-facing contact details in public interfaces.

Your choices

You can use basic local reading without publishing content or connecting a wallet. You can clear local app data from Settings. For account or privacy requests, contact support@readsentence.com.
