Books for travelling

A short trip is enough time to read a few sentences. These are my picks for a book you can put down when you need to move.

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes

A collection of separate cases. Choose one story without committing to a whole novel. The mysteries give you a reason to return after an interruption.

The Time Machine

A short science-fiction novel with one central journey. A good choice if you want a complete story without starting a long series.

A Christmas Carol

A short book with a clear story and five main sections. The older language can take a moment, but the plot is easy to follow.

Reading on the move

I built Sentence for this. I use it when travelling. Read a few sentences, close the app, and return to your place later.

Read when you are a passenger or waiting. Open your book while connected and test it in airplane mode before the trip. Previously cached books may remain available offline; installation alone does not download every book. Translation still needs a connection. For a simple routine, see how to read more during your commute.
